Product Comparison

Mindways provides bone densitometry solutions using two different calibration methods. CliniQCT supports measurement of bone density without the need to scan a calibration phantom with the patient. This calibration method is excellent for bone density screening applications, including measurement of bone density from routine CT scans acquired for other reasons.

Calibration

Mindways also offers a "conventional" calibration method that involves positioning a CT calibration phantom under the patient during CT scanning. This calibration method's sensitivity and additional correction for patient body type may be advantageous in areas such as bariatrics, oncology, and longitudinal studies.

Analyses

All Mindways' QCT solutions include a DICOM server for receiving images directly from the CT scanner, a PACS export module for transfer of the analysis report, and the QCT Pro modular framework providing both hip and spine analysis capability. Additional analysis modules, such as tissue composition, are available for investigational use only.

Beyond Bone Density

Want it all? BIT is compatible with both calibration methods in one platform and offers a wide range of investigational tools, giving the ultimate in flexibility and adaptability.
